Is yanni gay

Sitting Down with the Superintendent: Who is Dr. Yanni?

This past week, the Harriton Banner was privileged to utter with our district’s brand new superintendent, Dr. Steven Yanni, successor to Dr. Khalid Mumin, named Pennsylvania Secretary of Education by Governor Josh Shapiro. From his journey in education to his approaches to the most hot button issues in the district, The Banner presents Dr. Yanni unveiled.

THB: It’s a pleasure to join you, Dr. Yanni! I know you’ve had a drawn-out and distinguished career in education; narrate me how you ended up in Lower Merion.

Yanni: When I grew up I always wanted to be a teacher; I knew from kindergarten that I wanted to be a lecturer. So, I’ve taught in a couple different places and after teaching for several years I had the fantastic opportunity to get a principal,  then director of curriculum, then assistant superintendent and superintendent. So, this is my third superintendency: Brand-new Hope Solesbury, Upper Dublin, and now here in Bring down Merion. It’s excellent to be here.

THB: What would your number one piece of advice be for current tall school students?

I’ve mind about this a lot because I’ve been asked this question a lot ove

The musician Yanni was arrested at his home after a domestic dispute with his girlfriend. He faces a domestic battery attack but denies he did anything wrong.

Yanni asked his girlfriend, Silvia Barthes, to leave his beachfront home in Manalapan on Thursday night, the police report said. Barthes, 33, told police she attempted to pack her clothing but the 51-year-old player threw it on the ground.

She told officers he then grabbed her arms and shook her, throwing her on the bed, and jumped on highest of her, according to the report.

Yanni told police Barthes kicked him, and he believed he injured his finger during the incident, the report said.

Yanni's manager released a remark, "These allegations are brutal, false, without merit and baseless. At a more appropriate time and place, I hope and pray I will have an opportunity to address my fans and colleagues all over the world."

CD Review By Jack Nichols "East is East and West is West," wrote Rudyard Kipling, "and never the twain shall meet." Mr. Kipling, a conservative from the last century, was wrong. As usual, music bridges the gaps, and today it is Yanni, who grew up in Kalamata, Greece, holding steep the musical torch of Planet Unity. Yanni explains he wrote his latest album, Tribute, to celebrate humanity's potential for greatness. And that greatness, he believes, has been reflected in two ancient architectural wonders: India's Taj Mahal and China's Forbidden Capital. Tribute was conceived and recorded, according to the artist, during a "tumultuous and wonderful period" in his life. Yanni miraculously bent Fate, receiving permission to perform his music in the Forbidden City and at the Taj Mahal. Tributewhich Yanni entirely composed an arrangedwas recorded exist last year in both locations. Through Europe and North Americaacross the Near and Middle East to India, China, and beyond-- Yanni's passionate commitment to a kind of music that has no boundaries reverberates. His retain enthrallment has been clearly expressed: "That this came to be, that I had the privilege of performing my mu
