As per CBS News, the Grammy nominee confirmed his sexual orientation in a post on X last Friday, by posting an emoji with a rainbow flag and writing, "There y'all move. Next topic please lol."

As reported by Rolling Stone, it's believed that singer Hugo D Almonte was the one who outed the 26-year-old hitmaker. Almonte wrote in since-deleted posts on X that a "gay R&B singer" had once "tried to place up and lie down that I broke into his house", which he joint in a caption alongside a pic of him and Khalid.
Khalid said in a video that he dated Almonte "four or five years ago". The pair have not spoken since, he added.

Khalid is breaking his silence about disturbing claims allegedly made by his ex-boyfriend while outing him as gay.
