I lament subscribing, which I did believing it's good to endorse an app claiming it supports people's need to attach and form communities. After six weeks of no unused real connections in London I didn't think it merited further money. I was shocked to be told my options were: settle more or delete my account. I wrote to complain this, plus a number of the features promised weren't permitted, and I was being charged the same number of Pounds as others were in Euros - all unfair. Still no response.

The app is in a dire need of an update. The interface is as clunky and unintuitive as it gets, and the constant full-screen ads that pop up even if you're in the middle of entering a message (which ensures you accidentally tap on it) make trying to navigate the thing infinitely more frustrating. Unfortunately, the overall design makes me disinclined to compensate for the premium version. Shame, because the concept itself is great.

Keeping up with my gay team chats is basically a part time job. Mine are basically all just different configurations of the same core group of people. All of my organization chats have at least one of the following archetypes, and I bet yours do, too. Tag yourself in the comments. You might even be more than one.
The Algorithm Ruiner
This is me, and I am this. Most of my friends comprehend better than to actually click on any TikToks or Reels I send in the gc. I have a predilection for exceptionally cursed content. From cringe lesbian influencer couples to Christian content creators, you can reckon on me to drop links that literally no one wants to click out of dread it’ll ruin their algorithm AKA make their algorithm look love mine. Us Algorithm Ruiners can’t help it! We’re allergic to “good” content, and we’re loyal to imposing our “bad” content on you.
